| The first International Conference of Porphyrins and Phthalocyanines (ICPP-1) was held in Dijon, France from June 25-30, 2000 and was attended by over 600 participants from over 40 countries worldwide. This initial conference was followed by highly successful meetings in Kyoto (2002), New Orleans (2004), Rome (2006), Moscow (2008), Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico, USA (2010), Jeju Island, Korea (2012), and Istanbul, Turkey (2014).
